SKF Belt Alignment Tool
TKBA 10 / 20 / 40

Laser belt alignment methods Using a laser belt alignment tool is quicker and more accurate than traditional methods. Belt alignment tools can either align the pulley faces or the pulley grooves.

Accurate pulley and belt alignment can help you:

N

Increase bearing life

N

Increase machinery uptime, efficiency and productivity

N

Reduce wear on pulleys and belts

N

Reduce friction and thereby energy consumption

N

Reduce noise and vibration

N

Reduce costs of replacing components and machinery downtime

SKF Belt Frequency Meter
PHL FM 10/400

One of the most accurate belt tension measurement methods.Wide range of applicationsThe SKF Belt Frequency Meter consists of a hand-held meter and an optical sensor to provide contact-free belt tension measure- ments for most of the following belt types, even in a noisy environment:

N

V-Belts (wrapped, cogged raw edge, ribbed)

N

Banded V-Belts

N

Timing belts

The SKF Belt Frequency Meter is capable of measuring belt vibration frequencies from 10 to 400 Hz. Based upon the measured belt frequency, the SKF Belt Frequency Meter calculates belt tensions up to 9 900 N (2 200 lbs.).

SKF Belt Tension Gauge

This gauge is available to determine the deflection force [kg] required to set and maintain V-belt tension. Table lists the required force needed to deflect a belt in mid-span relative to pulley diameter and speed.

SKF Pulley Gauge

Use an SKF pulley gauge to check pulley wear. Pulleys should be replaced when more than 0.8 mm is detected between template and groove.
